Larrick Farms has been working with the Maine Anjou breed since 1982. Larrick Farms started with 20 black commercial Angus cows and a Maine Anjou bull. The cattle herd has increased ever since to our highest number of 150 registered and commercial cows.
In the 1980's Larrick Farms began selling steer and heifer club calves at consignment auctions in Missouri and Illinois. After Tim finished showing, in 1991, Larrick Farms began its "Top 40" club calf sale. Later, adding registered Angus to our sale to offer a second breed making it a "Top 50" club calf sale. Our show cattle have been successful in the show ring. This past year we hosted our 17th annual Larrick Farms auction, which turned out to be one of the best yet.
Larrick Farms consists of Julius and Shirley Larrick, Rick Larrick, Ron and his wife Kim, their two children, Cassie and Ryan Larrick, and Tim and his wife Michelle, their two children, Larissa and Peyson Larrick.
