sales from our supplier, normal pricing on range extenders are up
to 50% higher. All hardware carries a 1-Year manufacturer warranty. In the
event of failure of these products due to manufacturer defects, the customer
is responsible for all shipping costs for warranty replacement and repair.
Damage to the above products due to lightning or other "acts of god", as well as mis-use
are not covered under your manufacturer's warranty. The customer is required
to carry any applicable home-owner's insurance for coverage in these types
of events.
***Wireless Antenna, Cable, and Mount are provided for free for our wireless customers for the term of your contract. They must be returned to Missvalley Internet upon discontinuance of service.

Frequently Asked Questions
**Network Card Required: This option provides you with the Network version of your wireless modem. It is an external modem which does not require a PCI slot in your PC, however does require a minimum of a 10 base T connection on each computer that uses the wireless connection, and a hub or switch if you intend to use it with more than one computer. Network cards, hubs, switches, cables, and networking support are sold separately, please call for pricing.
Q: Can I use my existing wireless equipment?
A: It depends on the type of equipment you are using. MVC makes no guarantees that your equipment will be compatible with ours. To see if your equipment is compatable, please call our office for details.
Q: Do you have a self-install kit available, and is there a discount for installing wireless yourself?
A: We do not currently have a self-install kit available, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to call our office for details.
Q: Can I use my wireless connection somewhere other than in my house once it's installed?
A: Your wireless Internet connection from MVC is a stationary connection to our tower. This means that you may not move it from the location where it is installed. You may however be able to set up your own internal wireless network in your household which would allow you to move freely around and near your house with laptops, pda's, etc. Call our office for pricing. Any equipment that would be used for this purpose is sold separately, and priced separately from the above connections.
Q: I am near your wireless tower, but am surrounded by trees. Can I still get Wireless Internet?
A: We now have available 900MHZ Non-Line-of-Sight Equipment which can receive signals AROUND things such as trees easier than 2.4GHZ! If you are less than 3 miles from our tower you may still be able to get Wireless Internet with 900MHZ!
