ZION LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL
Enrollment for the 2005-2006
Preschool Year
Registration is now ongoing for the 2005-2006 preschool
year. Below you will find a letter
from Zion’s preschool to the parents of prospective pupils. There is also a printable registration
questionnaire, to be filled out and returned to Zion Lutheran Preschool with
$30.00 enrollment fee. To date, we have 38 students enrolled with one class full. So, therefore, we will be having an
afternoon three year old class on Tuesday and Thursday. Sessions I and II (four-five year old
classes which meet on Monday-Wednesday-Friday) will cost $60 per month and
Sessions III and IV (three-four year old classes which meet on
Tuesday-Thursday) will be $50 per month.

Summer School Is Almost
Over… The second three-week session began
on Tuesday, July 26 with seven students.
Dana Lucas is assisting again this year. Our new volunteer program of youth from Zion includes Abby
Doepke, Shannon Dickerson, and Ethan Strain, that help one afternoon per week. The last day of SKP will be on Friday,
August 12 with outdoor activities and a pizza party for kids and all of the
staff. The next
monthly Preschool Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 9 at the home
of Bev Dittmer following a barbeque. Open House
will be held on Monday, August 29 for Session I; Tuesday, August 30 for
Session II; Wednesday, August 31 for Session III and Thursday, September 1
for Session IV. Each will be held
from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with refreshments of cookies and Kool-Aid. Everyone is welcome to attend. To date, we
have 44 students enrolled for the 2005-2006 school year which will again
include four classes. Enrollment is
ongoing—so please call if you know of someone interested in our preschool
program. The school year will begin
on Tuesday, September 6. Special
thanks to the Evan Richardson (Session I) family for the donation of a used
computer for our computer lab. Also,
to Carol Pemberton (Grandma of Cade—Session III) who donated so many school
supplies, toys, etc. for us to use!
Thanks to Larry Dittmer, John Beilharz, Jeff Lindsey, Alan Leonard,
and Jerry Dittmer for all your help!
We would also like to thank the Alan Leonard family for the load of
mulch! As we begin
another school year at Zion Preschool, we ask for your prayers for the staff,
